The 6th Table du Chef was held at Café Ferreira on Tuesday, April 9th. The owner, Carlos Ferreira, once again generously opened his renowned kitchen to our guests to benefit Portage. The Portuguese-flavoured menu included cod croquettes with black garlic mayonnaise, yellowfin tuna crudo and octopus Bolognese
Led by Chef Francesco Dili, a promising young chef who has worked all over the world as part of his travels, this gastronomic event’s 12 attendees got to roll up their sleeves to prepare the delicious dishes on the menu.
Portage would like to thank the partners of that evening: Stéphane Dufort, Vice-President, Industrial and Commercial Sectors at IBM Canada Ltd. and member of the Board for Portage, as well as Jean Tremblay, Chief Technology Officer, IBM Canada Ltd. By bringing together influential members of the Montreal business community, this activity allowed Portage to receive the net sum of $10,000 which will be dedicated to adolescent programs.
It should be noted that Table du Chef is one of the many charitable events organized by the Foundation as part of its annual campaign, which is intended to raise two million dollars to enhance the programs offered and help people with addiction issues.
