Cocktail

Gathered in the Complexe Jules-Dallaire’s atrium bright setting, nearly 200 members of the national capital’s business community attended the 18th Edition of Portage’s Cocktail Reception on May 7th, a highly coveted event to round off our annual fundraising campaign.

Guests were able to network in a friendly atmosphere complete with jazz music whilst contributing to a great cause! Our guests enjoyed an elaborate and refined menu, mostly prepared with a wide variety of seafood by the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac’s culinary director, Frédéric Cyr. Also, the mother of a young graduate spoke about their journey:

“I am extremely proud of his journey, happy that the boy I brought into this world 15 years ago has finally found his way back. Now together, one day at a time, we are learning to face life’s challenges and discovering a whole new lovely mother-and-son relationship.”

Portage and the Organizing Committee would like to thank all those who took part in the event, allowing us to raise a net amount of $40,000 during that evening. This record sum will be entirely dedicated to Portage’s residential program for adolescents in Saint-Malachie and Day Centre for adults in Quebec.
