Rehabilitating youth who are struggling with life's challenges and reintegrating them drug-free into society to become successful and productive adults has been Portage Ontario’s mission for over three decades. The help of our community partners has been invaluable in fulfilling this mission: it really does take a village. Portage is very grateful to the following community-minded organizations for believing in our youth and making a financial contribution towards their recovery this past spring:
- Harold E. Ballard Foundation, for its donation of $18,000 to create a new Technology Room to enhance all aspects of programming for residents at Portage
- Toronto Star Fresh Air Fund for its grant of $5,000 to support Toronto youth in our Outward Bound Summer Camp Program
- The Guelph Community Foundation for its $1,500 grant in support of Guelph residents in our Outward Bound Summer Camp Program
- Centre Wellington Community Foundation for its $1,000 grant in support of the Portage Community Engagement Program
Portage Ontario extends its heartfelt thanks to all our generous donors who are helping youth take back control of their life.
