Each year during National Volunteer Week, Portage Atlantic recognizes the tireless dedication of Volunteers that contribute to the success of the youth and the Portage program.
This years’ celebration, which took place at the Portage Atlantic Centre, included speeches, awards, treats and a fun gardening activity to recognize our incredible volunteers. The seeds started during this special day will be transported and planted in the Community Garden and will serve as a beautiful and everlasting reminder of all that our Volunteers do.
Our organization is extremely fortunate to have a community of Volunteers who share their time, skills, empathy, and creativity for the betterment of the program and the lives of youth who come through our doors. Thank you to each of our volunteers for their contribution to our mission.
