Supporting youth toward a healthier future
Founded in 1996, Portage Atlantic is a non-profit organization that offers a residential substance use rehabilitation program in New Brunswick for adolescents aged 14 to 21 from across the Atlantic provinces.
Through the therapeutic community approach, residents learn to identify the root causes of their problems, develop tools to cope with them, and build self-esteem to lead a healthy and balanced life.
Located in Cassidy Lake, New Brunswick, the centre welcomes youth from Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, and Newfoundland and Labrador.
