Portage Golf Tournament – Quebec: $77,500 Raised for Programs

On June 8, the 31st edition of the Portage Québec Golf Tournament brought together 148 players at the Royal Québec Golf Club for an outstanding day in support of a vital cause.

A heartfelt thank you to our honorary president, Martin Vézina, Regional Vice-President, Sales, Independent Advisor Network, Quebec and Atlantic Provinces at iA Financial Group, for his dynamic leadership. We also extend our sincere thanks to the organizing committee for their unwavering commitment, as well as to Alexandre Bernier, who generously agreed to represent Mr. Vézina, who was abroad on business.

Thanks to the generosity of all involved, the event raised a net total of $77,500, which will be entirely dedicated to the program for Adolescents and young adults in Saint-Malachie, as well as the Adult Day Centre in Québec City.

A highlight of the day was the testimony of Félix, a young man who completed his treatment a few months ago. His heartfelt and authentic story served as a powerful reminder of the tangible impact Portage has on the lives of the youth we support. His journey deeply moved participants and illustrated the importance of investing in specialized addiction treatment resources.

Thank you to all the participants, partners and volunteers who helped make this event such a success. Together, we are transforming lives.
