November 24th, 2024 – As part of National Addictions Awareness Week (NAAW), which will be held from November 24th to 30th 2024, Portage will aim to spotlight effective solutions for addressing the harms caused by alcohol and drug use. Tackling substance use issues with youth before they escalate into more serious or even life-threatening problems can be challenging. To support this, Portage Atlantic will host two webinars focused on raising awareness about current drug trends among teenagers, the crucial role parents play in addressing substance use, and the influence of social media on teen behavior.
To set the stage for the webinar and create awareness about this learning opportunity, Portage Atlantic would like to promote the upcoming webinars. If you are interested in learning more and/or interview a Portage graduate about their experience with drug and alcohol exposure, their thoughts on social media effects and why they alienate loved ones during these difficult times, please reach out via the contact information provided.
The webinar links below will take you to the registration form.
