It was in the form of a corn boil that the parents of the users of the residential center in Saint-Malachie were invited to come and experience and share the daily life of their children. After participating together in daily chores, a "parents-residents" volleyball match animated the afternoon.
The day ended with a group exercise focusing on identifying and sharing emotions. We greatly appreciate the involvement and participation of the parents, making this event a beautiful success and a memorable day for the residents.
When parents actively engage in their children's rehabilitation process, it creates a stronger family dynamic and essential support throughout their journey. By sharing these key moments, parents become more than just observers; they become trusted partners, providing their children with extra motivation to overcome their addiction.
