22nd edition of the Soirée des Grands Philanthropes

During the 22nd edition of the Soirée des Grands Philanthropes, held on September 25, Portage raised a record net amount of $1,850,000. We are very proud of this exceptional outcome. We paid tribute to Julie Godin, Executive Chair of the Board of CGI for her remarkable contribution to the wellbeing of the community, her philanthropic commitment and her contribution to the business community, both in Canada and around the world.

CGI and Portage have worked together for more than 30 years to help young people struggling with addiction. The Portage family is truly privileged to be able to rely on CGI’s steadfast support, for which it is deeply grateful.

A total of 710 guests were welcomed at the Windsor Station’s Salle des pas perdus, as well as 134 guests in Quebec City, who took part in the Montreal event live from the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac.

Our warmest thanks to the co-chairs, Claudine Bouchard, President and Chief Executive Officer, Hydro-Québec and Kim Thomassin, Executive Vice-President and Head of Québec, La Caisse, the members of the Honorary Committee in Montreal and in Quebec City, and the partners, participants and volunteers who helped make this evening a success.
