As a night assistant-monitor, your mission is to ensure the safety of the center’s users. You write follow-up reports and highlight any anomalies to the relevant supervisor(s). You are the go-to person when the situation requires it
Supporting and monitoring residents under one’s responsibility: Provide support to residents while carefully monitoring their well-being.
Maintaining an organized and disciplined environment: Ensure order, discipline, and user safety.
Conducting regular checks: Carry out regular inspections to ensure user safety.
Quickly identifying any issues or irregularities: Pay attention to details, recognize abnormal situations, and take steps to report them promptly to the person in charge.
Assisting agitated users: Provide assistance to users who are agitated or in situations requiring intervention (calming users, conflict management, support, etc.).
General maintenance of the premises: Take care of general maintenance and upkeep tasks of the facilities.
Applying facility rules for internal and external circulation: Ensure that all individuals follow established procedures to maintain an orderly and safe flow inside and around the facility.
Applying prevention measures: Implement preventive actions, ensure that security systems are functioning properly, and work in collaboration with the relevant municipal services.
Participating in the orientation and training of new staff: Assist and facilitate the adaptation process of new employees within the organization.
Related tasks: Perform other tasks as requested by the immediate supervisor.
Completed high school diploma
Bilingual: French and English (spoken and written)
Observational skills, good self-control

Job Type: permanent, full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Schedule: Night shift – 11pm to 7am – Tuesday to Saturday
Salary: $20, 34/hours
