The program is in Montreal. The phone number is 514 935-3152.
The program is bilingual and offered in both English and French.
Admission is voluntary.
The person interested must first contact the admissions officer to begin the process. An assessment of the situation will then be carried out.
A partnership will be established with the professionals and family members involved in the case of the mother and child. The length of the assessment may vary depending on the specific situation and the availability of space.
Once admitted to the program, it usually takes about 10 days before the child can join their mother at the centre.
Each program is tailored to the individual, and the pace of visits depends on their progress.
In general, the first visits with your loved ones begin after three weeks of therapy.
As you move through the program, you’ll also be able to go on outings, which help support your gradual reintegration into daily life.
Family members involved in your child’s life can also visit or arrange outings with them.
No. The structured therapeutic schedule does not allow for maintaining employment during therapy. However, employment reintegration services are offered after the residential phase.
