are proud to support Portage Atlantic and their dedicated team who work tirelessly to enhance the lives of youth within our community.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the Foundation was able to provide a $2,000 Community Grant in 2022. These funds supported the Wishlist project, enabling youth coming to or transitioning from the treatment program at Cassidy Lake to freely access essential supports like footwear, backpacks, art supplies, and personal hygiene products.<\/p>\n<p>It&rsquo;s fulfilling to know that in a small way we are helping youth with addictions successfully reintegrate into society.<strong>\u00ab\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Fredericton Community Foundation<\/strong><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<p><strong>\u00ab\u00a0<\/strong>At Saint John LNG, we have the good fortune to live and work in such a wonderful community.<\/p>\n<p>Being a good neighbour and supporting organizations that are committed to improving the well-being of our community is important. Since 2009, we have invested over $5 million in our community and are so proud of our community support!<\/p>\n<p>We commend Portage Atlantic for the great work they are doing to help youth who are dealing with substance abuse-related problems. Their guidance and support is changing lives; making a positive impact on the health, well-being and development of our youth.<strong>\u00ab\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Saint John LNG<\/strong><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<p>\u00ab\u00a0I continue to support Portage\u00a0because I believe in the strength and effectiveness of the programs and services it offers to Atlantic youth in serious need of residential care. \u00a0Supporting Portage Atlantic also gives me the privilege of working alongside a fantastic group of volunteers and participating in projects that positively affect young lives, their family members&rsquo; lives, and the communities we live in. \u00a0The opportunity to make a difference and give back to these young people who have made the decision to re-direct their lives and live a life of sobriety is most satisfying.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p><strong>Frank Wilson, Portage Atlantic Board Member and donor<\/strong><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<p>\u00ab\u00a0Members of Jack Kidd Council have visited Portage Atlantic and watched the young people during their counseling sessions, listening to their testimonies about their struggles with addictions. These visits have given UCT members an understanding of how these young people are guided to take responsibility for their actions and choices. The graduation ceremonies are an emotional time when families and sponsors gather to hear each graduate tell their experience at Portage.
