{"id":45919,"date":"2025-10-01T09:58:18","date_gmt":"2025-10-01T14:58:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/portage.ca\/?p=45919"},"modified":"2025-10-01T10:16:55","modified_gmt":"2025-10-01T15:16:55","slug":"family-day-at-portage-saint-malachie-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/portage.ca\/en\/family-day-at-portage-saint-malachie-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Family Day at Portage Saint-Malachie"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\t<p class=\"lead\">On September 28, families of our residents came together for a warm and meaningful day at <a href=\"https:\/\/portage.ca\/en\/quebec\/french-adolescent-program-east\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Portage Saint-Malachie<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The day began with a delicious meal prepared by our chef Maryse Breton, followed by activities that reflect daily life at Portage &#8211; from household tasks to a friendly volleyball match between parents and residents. The energy and involvement of the families were truly inspiring, leaving a strong impression on many of the youth.<\/p>\n<p>To close the day, a workshop on family relationships offered a space for heartfelt conversations, emotional expression, and connection. It was a powerful reminder of both the vulnerability and strength within family bonds.<\/p>\n<p>We extend our sincere thanks to all the family members who joined us and continue to support their loved ones by participating in our services &#8211; including workshops, <a href=\"https:\/\/portage.ca\/en\/services\/family\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">family support groups<\/a>, and parent-adolescents sessions.
