On Wednesday, September 10, 2025, Portage held its 52nd Annual General Meeting in a hybrid format, welcoming many Governors and Board Members in person, while also offering a live webcast for remote participants.<\/p>\n
The meeting provided an opportunity to reflect on the key initiatives and structural achievements of the 2024\u20132025 fiscal year, which helped strengthen the impact and reach of the services offered by Portage.<\/p>\n
One of the highlights of the event was the heartfelt testimony from the parents of a young graduate of the adolescent and young adult program at Portage\u2019s Lac \u00c9cho centre. Their story deeply moved the audience and illustrated the transformative impact of the program on youth and their families.<\/p>\n
The meeting also highlighted several major milestones, including the awarding of Accreditation with Commendation by Accreditation Canada<\/a>, following a rigorous evaluation of more than 2,250 standards.
