{"id":40909,"date":"2024-09-24T10:39:34","date_gmt":"2024-09-24T15:39:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/portage.ca\/?p=40909"},"modified":"2025-03-24T12:34:54","modified_gmt":"2025-03-24T17:34:54","slug":"visit-to-the-musee-de-la-civilisation-for-the-saint-malachie-residents","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/portage.ca\/en\/visit-to-the-musee-de-la-civilisation-for-the-saint-malachie-residents\/","title":{"rendered":"Visit to the mus\u00e9e de la Civilisation for the Saint-Malachie residents"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\t<p class=\"lead\">On September 1st, the residents of the centre for <a href=\"https:\/\/portage.ca\/en\/quebec\/french-adolescent-program-east\/\">Adolescents and Young Adults<\/a> in Saint-Malachie had the opportunity to take part in a socio-cultural activity in collaboration with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.quebec-cite.com\/en\/businesses\/musee-de-la-civilisation\">the Mus\u00e9e de la Civilisation<\/a> in Quebec City.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to the recreation committee, the proud organizer of the event, the participants were able to enjoy this outing. The program included a picnic at Quai Chouinard, where the adolescents and young adults had lunch with a view of the river and cruise ships visiting Quebec.<\/p>\n<p>At the museum, the participants explored two exhibitions: <em>Gladiators: Heroes of the Colosseum<\/em>, showcasing the strength and courage of these legendary warriors, and <em>Wrestling: Quebec in the Ring<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>This experience was highly popular among the Saint-Malachie community.
