Portage’s 29th<\/sup> edition of the Golf Open was held at the prestigious Royal Quebec Golf Club<\/a> on Monday, June 10th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

Our heartfelt thanks to honorary chairman Martin V\u00e9zina, Vice-President, iA Financial Group<\/a>‘s Quebec and Atlantic Independent Sales Network-and to the organizing committee for its dedication in making this a successful event, which raised a net total of $68,500.<\/p>\n

Proceeds from the event will be dedicated to the Adult Day Centre in Quebec City and to the Adolescent and Young Adult Program at the residential centre in Saint\u2011Malachie. A young graduate of the therapy program at the Saint-Malachie centre shared her story during the evening, allowing attendees to appreciate the profound impact Portage has on individuals and the community.<\/p>\n

Golfers thoroughly enjoyed the day despite the uncertain weather. The event concluded with a friendly evening on the Club’s new terrace. The Club was celebrating its 150th<\/sup> anniversary.<\/p>\n
