On Tuesday, November 14, Portage had the honour of welcoming the Lieutenant-Governor of Quebec, the Honorable J. Michel Doyon, to our Adolescent and Young Adult Centre in Saint-Malachie. \u00a0Mr. Andr\u00e9 Roy, President of PMT ROY Assurances et services financiers, Portage Board member and Chair of the annual fundraising campaign, also joined us with several committed partners.<\/p>\n

Our heartfelt thanks to the Lieutenant-Governor for caring about young people and their future. He spoke to the group and had a lovely conversation with them. His wisdom inspired and encouraged them to pursue their passion.<\/p>\n

This visit helped the residents recognize that many people in the community are dedicated to Portage’s mission and play a key role in their recovery.<\/p>\n
