In memory of his wife, the late Patricia Mercer, the Sussex Club Lion Chester Mercer was proud to donate one of her paintings, accompanied by a monetary donation dedicated to the purchase of arts supplies, to the Portage Atlantic youth residential rehabilitation treatment centre at Cassidy Lake. Patricia Mercer was one of the founders of the Artists\u2019 Co-op in Sussex and explored her creative and artistic expression at Hooper Studios, Hampton, NB. The Portage staff and youth are touched by the donation.<\/p>\n
