The Lions bring Holiday cheer to the Portage Atlantic residents at the Annual Christmas Party, on Sunday, December 9, 2018
As they do every year, the Lions District N-1 clubs hosted a Christmas Party for the youth at the Portage Atlantic’s Cassidy Lake rehabilitation centre. Santa and Mrs. Claus warmly greeted the adolescents in residence and presented them with gifts which figured on the Christmas wish lists.
Some of the Portage Atlantic regional directors, staff members, and family members took part in this special celebration for the youth who have decided to rid themselves of their dependencies to regain their place in society and within their families.
The female community from the Leos group performed, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Two male residents sang the song, The A Team.
All appreciated the afternoon of festivities, bringing Christmas Holiday cheer.
