Community partners mean the world to us

Rehabilitating youth who are struggling with life and reintegrating them drug-free into society to become successful and productive adults has been Portage Ontario’s mission for over three decades. The help of our community partners has been invaluable in fulfilling this mission: it really does take a village.

Portage Ontario Community Connections

Portage Community Connections

Portage staff and residents continue to do great work in the community, spreading awareness about Portage Ontario and the services it offers. Most impactful are the personal stories our residents share with their audiences, who are often even younger than the youth in our program. Portage is a gymnasium for safe exploration, a space where one has the opportunity to be nurtured and practice embodying their true nature apart from drugs. The magic is in the tools, and hard work really pays off in this place. Freedom and responsibility work hand in hand.”
