To celebrate the beginning of the summer, the adolescents of Portage Saint-Malachie took part in a nature adventure at Domaine faunique de Saint-Nazaire-de-Dorchester. In partnership with the Quebec Wildlife Foundation, this exciting outing was the continuation of a pilot project which was initiated last spring.

Following this outing, one teenager wanted to express her gratitude towards the team. Here are the kind words she chose to describe her adventure: ”As soon as I arrived, I was already in love with the place. It reminded me of my childhood, more specifically the times that we went fishing. It felt good to connect with nature and just to have fun. It allowed me to find my true self. It was one of the best experiences I’ve had in a long time. The staff was welcoming and showed warmth, making us feel at home. It inspired me to do another activity like that with my family. Everyone loved it. This experience helped me grow, become more responsible and take time for myself. Thank you for everything xxx”
