$1 million will be used for construction of new facility
The federal government is contributing $1 million to the construction of a new multi-purpose centre for a New Brunswick youth addiction treatment centre.
The funding for Portage Atlantic, located on Cassidy Lake near Norton, was announced last week when Minister of State for Small Business and Tourism Rob Moore and Minister of National Revenue, Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency and the Atlantic Gateway Keith Ashfield visited the treatment centre.
“We’re really very appreciative of Minister Ashfield’s help,” says Dr. Russell King, chairman of Portage Atlantic.
