 Program for adolescents

The Night Assistant Counsellor ensures the protection of the residents of the center, responding to certain needs and emergency situations when it is required. He will write follow-up reports and will report of any behaviour’s observed.

RESPONSABILITIES

  • Ensures that all of the organization’s policies and procedures are followed and prioritizes the quality of care provided, as well as the safety and well-being of residents, in all tasks performed, actions taken and documents prepared;
  • Ensures that the quality of care provided is adequate and complies with the organization’s existing policies and procedures;
  • Ensures that all tasks and actions performed focus on the safety and well-being of residents;
  • Supports and monitors the residents under his/her responsibility;
  • Ensures and maintains the order, discipline and safety of the residents;
  • Validates the quality of care given according to the policies and procedures of the organization;
  • Carries out patrol rounds to ensure regular monitoring;
  • Report immediately any dangerous situation, incident or accident in the shortest possible time to the appropriate staff member;
  • Provides assistance to residents in need of intervention and other similar situations;
  • Takes care of the general needs of the residents;
  • See to the general maintenance of the premises;
  • Enforces the rules of the establishment regarding the internal and external circulation of personnel, visitors, clients and suppliers;
  • Applies prevention measures and verifies the proper functioning of protection systems and collaborates with the various municipal services;
  • Performs any other related tasks.

REQUIRED PROFILE

  • Hold a high school diploma
  • Observational skills
  • Great self-control and sense of self;
  • Courteous
  • Good judgment
  • Sense of responsibility and fulfillment of responsibilities;
  • Honesty
  • Ability to work in a team setting
  • Good ethics, confidentiality, empathy

OTHER INFORMATION

  • Job type: temporary, (minimum 3 months), full time
  • Schedule: Nights from 11pm to 7am
  • Salary: to be discussed according to experience
  • Other benefits : parking
