This year’s Stride for Success Charity Relay, put on by T4G’s Future Focus Foundation to raise money for the Portage Atlantic Recovery Trail Project, was a resounding success. In its second of three years, the relay has helped raise just over $40,000 in cash donations, pledges, and gifts in kind to develop Cassidy Lake’s 165 wooded acres into a seasonal hiking trail for residents. The goal of the Recovery Trail Project is to raise $60,000 by July 2012. There are only twelve months left to go, so please help us reach our finish line! To make a donation, please contact Carol Tracey at 506-459-1284 or by email at ctracey@portage.ca.

Portage Atlantic would like to thank all volunteers and relay teams: the City of Saint John, Saint John Firefighters, RBC, GENIVAR, and T4G. A special thank you to T4G’s Future Focus Foundation for leading this incredible project and helping to make Portage Atlantic’s Recovery Trail a reality in the near future.
