On Wednesday May 3rd 2017, the 16th edition of the cocktail reception was held at the Rotonde of the Complexe Jules-Dallaire, co-chaired by Michel Dallaire, President and CEO, Cominar Real Estate Investment, and Olga Farman, Associate Director of Norton Rose Fulbright, Québec Office. This event was attended by approximately one hundred and fifty businesspeople from the Quebec Region during an evening for the benefit of the drug addiction treatment program for Portage Saint-Malachie adolescents.

Guests enjoyed a fresh local cuisine inspired by the summer season, prepared by Chef Jonathan Jeanrie of Restaurant Le Montego’s catering services.

This activity collected a net amount of $32,800. Michel Dallaire, Chairman of Portage’s fundraising campaign, Quebec region, and a member of the Board of Trustees, proudly announced that the annual fundraising goal of $375,000 has been reached. He thanked the committee members for their dedication and loyalty to Portage’s mission.

During that evening, a youth shared his experience following the successful conclusion of his therapy at Portage. This helped raise awareness about the significant role Portage has in the community.

Portage sincerely thanks its partners and all those who have contributed to the success of the evening.
