Portage Ontario is pleased to announce a new partnership with the Canadian Don’t Do Drugs Society, a non-profit organisation which seeks to prevent youth drug addiction, identify at risk teens, and help connect them with the necessary resources. It has pledged generous financial support to helping Ontario youth overcome their drug addiction issues at Portage’s residential drug addiction rehabilitation centre in Elora.
Portage Ontario will be joining the Canadian Don’t Do Drugs Society on their tour of schools, community organisations, and businesses, which seeks to educate about the dangers of drugs. Portage Ontario residents will tell their stories and explain what they have learned in treatment, in the hopes that other youth can avoid the struggles they faced. Confidential referrals to Portage will also be offered to anyone who may need help.
Portage is very pleased to be working together with the Canadian Don’t Do Drugs Society to build safer, healthier, and more vibrant communities across Ontario.
