Only a few short months away, it’s time to gear up for Toronto’s all-new adventure race and festival, in support of Portage Ontario’s substance abuse rehabilitation program for youth. For an exciting team-building challenge, get your colleagues and friends together and come Hit the Bricks with us!
The inaugural Hit the Bricks Event will take place on Sunday April 28th at the Evergreen Brick Works in Toronto.
This One-Day Urban Adventure Race and Festival will see the Brick Works transformed into an obstacle course with mental and physical challenges. The challenges, designed and delivered by Outward Bound Canada, are bound to deliver a memorable life experience complete with personal challenge, fun, and camaraderie.
The day will start with an Urban Adventure Race that will put minds, bodies, and souls to the test, as teams of two to eight racers attempt to complete as many of the challenges as possible in a two hour window. Teams will have a wide variety of adrenaline-pumping, team-building challenges to choose from including a seventy foot challenge tower climb, a high tower rappel, team climbing wall, Bermuda Triangle, 2-person ropes course, geocaching, and a Spider’s Web. At noon, the event will morph into an Urban Adventure Festival where people of all ages and abilities can attempt the very same challenges at a more leisurely pace.
