Residents at the Portage rehabilitation centres in Prévost, Beaconsfield, as well as those from the Mother and Child centre and the Mentally Ill Chemical Abusers Program have received tickets from the Cirque du Soleil to go see QUIDAM on December 21 at the Bell Centre.
Tickets were graciously donated in April as well, which gave the same opportunity to residents who were at the Montréal and Québec City centres at the time.
In every city on its tour, Cirque du Soleil offers free dress rehearsal tickets to local non-profit organisations, particularly to those that help youth at risk.
Portage is extremely grateful to Cirque du Soleil for its generosity, as are the residents who will never forget the experience.
In addition, IBM donated a box for one of the QUIDAM performances to the residents of Portage’s Mother and Child Program.
