Portage’s annual fundraising Golf Tournaments, in their 18th year in the Québec City region and their 15th year in the Montréal region, were resounding successes again this year, raising $212,000 for addiction rehabilitation centres for youth in Québec.
The 18th annual Portage Golf Tournament in Sainte-Marie-de-Beauce
The 18th annual Québec City region Portage Golf Tournament was held on June 4, 2012 at the Beauce Golf Club, in Sainte-Marie. The event, under the honourary presidency of Mr. Richard Fortier, Acting Chair, Desjardins Financial Security, raised $62,000 for Portage’s drug addiction rehabilitation centre for youth in Saint-Malachie. Since its inception, this event has raised over $600,000 for the Portage centres in the Québec City region.

The 15th annual Portage Golf Open in Laval-sur-le-Lac
On June 11, 2012 Portage held its 15th annual Montréal region Golf Tournament at the Club Laval-sur-le-Lac. The event raised $150,000 for the residential rehabilitation centres for adolescents in Prévost and in Beaconsfield. Since its inception, this event has raised over a million and a half dollars.
