About Portage


MONTRÉAL – October 17, 2006 – Portage today launched its 2006-2007 fundraising campaign at Club St-Denis in Montreal. The campaign target is $1.65 million to fund various Portage programs in Québec.

Over the past 33 years, through the generosity of many donors and the commitment of community partners, Portage has helped more than 30,000 substance abusers – men, women and adolescents – overcome their dependence on drugs and rejoin society. Portage’s success rate remains unparalleled.
