As a clinical counselor, your primary goal is to facilitate the education and re-education of individuals based on established action plans. Working under the supervision of the center director, you play a crucial role in guiding individuals toward rehabilitation and successful social reintegration. Through the use of effective educational methods, you will help them learn essential life skills by organizing, coordinating, and leading tailored activities. The aim is to ensure the development and mastery of appropriate skills and behaviors.
Providing quality care: Ensure quality care in accordance with applicable policies.
Welcoming and integrating users: Implement a procedure for welcoming and integrating users.
Assessing user needs: Collaborate in needs assessment and follow-ups.
Observing and analyzing user behavior: Understand and respect user abilities.
Developing action plans: Establish the steps to be followed for successful intervention.
Organizing and leading rehabilitation activities: Develop innovative activities that are both rewarding and viable.
Supporting day-to-day rehabilitation: Participate in pursuing individual therapeutic objectives according to established standards.
Writing observation, evaluation and summary reports: Keep notes and track user progress.
Accompanying users outside: Conduct visits and appointments.
Related tasks : Performs other tasks as requested by immediate superior.
College degree (DEC) in a related field or university degree in addiction (or in the process of completing it)
Experience in a similar position
Experience with a clientele with substance use disorders in a community setting or therapeutic community
Experience in intervention and crisis management
Excellent communication skills
Skills in interpersonal relationships and teamwork
Job Type: permanent, full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Schedule: day and evening shift (rotation), week and weekend
