Past Campaigns and Activities
- Recovery Trail Project
- Portage Atlantic collaborated with the Future Focus Foundation, a charitable organisation founded by technology company T4G Limited, to raise money for the Portage Atlantic Recovery Trail Project, which involved extending and enhancing the Cassidy Lake drug rehab centre's existing 3.8 km path through the woods to include wheelchair accessibility and provide youth in treatment with a safe and picturesque route for walking, running, biking and snowshoeing. Funds were raised by seeking relay teams from New Brunswick corporations to participate in the "Stride for Success" portion of the annual “Run Through History-Celebration of Green Space” project at the Lily Lake Pavilion from 2010-2012.
- Summer Kick-Off
- Portage Atlantic’s Summer Kick-Off was an annual community fundraising concert that collected significant funding and helped build awareness about Portage Atlantic's drug addiction rehabilitation centre at Cassidy Lake. The last edition of the Summer Kick-Off took place in 2010 in Florenceville, New Brunswick, and featured The Common People, Flat Top, and Clay Harrison. The annual events were made possible by Ayr Motor Express Ltd of Woodstock and Mr. John Maunder, a long-time supporter of Portage Atlantic.
