The Portage Foundation team and volunteers welcomed 136 golfers at the Royal Quebec Golf Club on Monday, June 12th for the 28th edition of Portage’s Golf Open. The weather was perfect, and the participants spent a wonderful day on one of the finest golf courses in Quebec. Our heartfelt thanks to all participants for their support and generosity.
This tournament was a great success, thanks to the bridging leadership of Honorary Chairman, Martin Vézina, Vice-President, iA Financial Group’s Quebec and Atlantic Independent Sales Network – and the committee members’ dedication. We have proudly exceeded our goal with a net amount of $78,000. All proceeds will go to the Saint-Malachie Youth Residential Program and the Adult Day Centre in Quebec City.
What’s more, a young graduate from the Saint-Malachie therapy program gave a testimonial and won the hearts of the participants by reminding them of Portage’s impact on the community.
