The 24th edition of the Portage Golf Open, which was held on June 4th at the Golf de Beauce in Sainte-Marie, was an incredible success thanks to the courageous participants that faced a finicky Mother Nature, with temperatures below 10º, relentless rain and tenacious winds.
Despite the weather that resembled more the month of March than June, a total sum of $63,500 was raised for Portage’s adolescent residential program in Saint-Malachie, which was presented by the President of the 2018 edition, Richard Legault, President of Industrial Alliance Securities Inc. and a member of Portage’s Board of Trustees.
Portage is celebrating 45 years of commitment to those suffering from drug addiction problems. Thanks to its drug addiction rehabilitation programs, thousands of men, women, and adolescents annually, regain their hope of a happy and productive life.
